I've Been Too Selfish...Forgive Me For That
Hey everyone…remember me? I won’t even be shocked if some of you forgot me. I don’t think I have ever been away from Live Journal for so long. At first I thought I was taking minor break/vacations, but it lasted a hell of allot longer then I thought. I think it was very selfish of me to just leave for so long and not keep you, my friends, updated on my life. I have loads of making up to do, so sit back and relax, cause this entry is gona be big!
First of, I am now 20 years old *special thanks to my friends who remembered and wished me a happy birthday* and I decided to make a few changes. Athough it kind of pains me to admit it, I am no longer a teen, I’m a man now. So the mistakes I made as a teen, i.e. abandoning Live Journal, is one I intend to fix. Writing is a huge part of my life, and I allowed myself to be consumed with friends, work, I pretty much used it as an excuse, and I am so sorry for that. I feel bad returning to Live Journal in such a pitiful note, but I can’t leave yet. I have much more to do before then. Now…let me share with you what I have been up to. Oh and before any of you get too excited, I am STILL single. ^^;
Well I’m pretty much ready to take my written test for my car license. I know, I know, I should have gotten that down long ago! Darn you Smash! Heh, anyway, I take the written test on Friday. My parents are too busy (or lazy not sure which one) to teach me, so my older brother decided to teach me himself. We have only had one lesson thus far, which took place last Sunday. I did very well, its allot easier then I thought. Then again, it was only the basics. I’m just trying to get a feel for the car at the moment. But man, wait till I start parallel parking…I’ve heard it’s pretty tough. So I am pretty damn nervous about that. So I guess my next batch of my entries will be about driving and work.
As for my birthday, it went pretty well. My boss, Lisa, took myself, and a few of my coworkers to my favorite restaurant “Swizzle Inn.” I ordered my favorite, the Butt whopping Nachos! Everyone enjoyed the food they ordered, well except for Lisa. I felt kind of bad that my boss didn’t like it at all. It kind of ruined my meal. But everyone else simply loved it, and they told me that she is too picky in both in-work and out-work. So I guess she had to just suck it up. Nothing too serious has happened at work. One of my mates Khimo got fired from Lisa because he missed work like 4 times. So it was kind of a downer that she had to let him go. Its too bad, I was looking forward to working with him this summer.
I think that is all in a nutshell really, just been hanging out with friends, working, and working on my driving. So nothing too interesting has happened to me yet. Oh yeah I am coming to Baltimore July 1st for a whole week. So I look forward to that. Anyway, my time is up for today. My new goal with LJ is to post 1-2 times a week. I know it isn’t much, but it is all I can manage at the moment. I’ll be pleased if I can keep that deal alive. Once again, I am so sorry for leaving you all like that, man I feel bad,. But I’m back…again! Lol. See yah all around.
