Pattern sharing for vintage fashions

Jan 16, 2010 10:12

For all my buddies that are seamstresses here on LJ; I thought I would make a post to see if anyone would like vintage pattern pages.  On DoA a while back a link was posted to a pattern archive where you could view them for free for a week.  I barely made a dent but I managed to save a fair amount of vintage patterns.  from the late 1800s up to the 1980s....(outfits that caught my fancy).

Since I'll be moving in march I won't have my computer for a year. ;3; so I won't have access to all the files on my hard drive.  I'm going to try and back them up to a disc or a jump drive but with how crappy my computer can be at times it may not even work.    If you'd like some of the patterns let me know and I can send them to you or post links to them.  Keep in mind none of the patterns I have are to scale with any size doll.

Here's a few of the patterns I have:

I have a few more but I didn't want to bog everyone's pages down with images out the wahoo.  I also have several actual patterns for dresses and suits from the 40s in my sewing room.  Let me know if something on here catches your fancy and I can put up the pattern itself.   And I have a modified pattern for a wing bust dress.

And here's a link to threadbanger (an awesome site for crafters)
