Both of them didn’t even bother to open up the curtains, but just stared at each other. It was Kame who made the first move. Still gazing straight into his eyes, the younger man pushed his jacket off, and gently glided his hands to his chest.
Kame pulled his shirt off slowly and he watched the other gaze dropped to his collar bone to the indistinct scar there, fleetingly touched it before placing a soft kiss onto the skin.
“You told me that she didn’t tell you…”
The other looked at him, “She didn’t.”
Jin nodded his head knowingly, “Pi?”
Kame just smiled and touched it again. Jin squirmed slightly.
“Ticklish?”
“Yeah…”
“Did it hurt?” Kame asked suddenly.
“Like bitch,” he murmured, brows creased remembering the past.
“I’m sorry,” the younger man whispered.
“It’s not your fault. You don’t have to be sorry. Besides, he had broken enough bones in my body to feel anything at that time,” he shrugged it off lightly, trying to push the images away from his head.
Kame looked at him, and when he unexpectedly leaned to kiss on his chest, Jin feels his chest tightened.
“But it hurts even more here doesn’t it?” the other gently stroke his chest as if trying to touch his heart.

“I don’t want to see her because it reminds me of my past,” Jin suddenly said and Kame’s heart skipped a beat.
“Do you want to know about it?”
Though he had heard them from Pi, he wants to know it from Jin. He really wants to but the older man looked so hesitant and Kame didn’t want the other to feel obliged in telling him.
“If you don’t want to…”
“I want to… you are now my partner and I do think that you deserve to know.”
They were laying on the bed side by side, shoulders touching when Jin started to speak.
“He was my mother’s second husband and before they got married everything is perfect. He loved me, my mother loved me but then it changed when they finally tied the knot.”
The older man took a deep breath before continuing,
“He actually didn’t even like me and told me right to my face that he is just being nice because he wanted my mother. I accepted it but then when my mother starts to blame me every time that man comes home late, or returned home smelled like cheap perfume, or shouted at her, it had hurt me.”
“She even ignored me when that man started to beat me in his drunken stupor.”
Kame pushed himself off from the bed, lying on his side and Jin was staring distantly at the ceiling.
“It hurts,” the older man murmured, still staring at the ceiling, sadness and pain filled those pair of brown eyes.
“But it hurts even more when she said that she wished that she hadn’t had me. That I am a mistake and that it would be nice if she hadn’t had me, that because of me she was stuck in that shithole.”
The other smiled slightly, “But then I am thankful for what they had done to me… it is because what they did, push me harder. It made me pushed myself to be the best so that I can get out and leave them.”
“And I did leave. For college, I had a sport scholarship for soccer.”
Another deep sigh, “And I thought finally I manage to get out but then… I blamed it on my own idiocy. I should have just left and ignore the prick but I didn’t. We had a fight… and he broke my leg.”
A trail of tear flows down the older man’s cheek and Kame’s heart aches.
“When I thought that my life was spiraling down to nowhere I met Ueda and then you.”
Jin finally turned to look at him and Kame reached out to stroke the older man’s cheek. He had been crying at the hospital when he knew pieces of it in Pi’s view, he won’t cry now.
The older man gazed at him a lingering reminiscing smile on his face, “I still remember perfectly well how I met you for the first time.”
Kame furrowed his brows at what the older man said.
“I still remember how you looked like, with gaping front teeth and bushy eyebrows, looking very much unappealing but still I really don’t know why I am doing my best to impress you.”
He rolled his eyes but couldn’t help to smile at the other’s remark.
“Well, you did impress me Akanishi Jin,” Kame whispered, leaning down to kiss gently at the corner of Jin’s mouth.
Jin smiled, “Yeah, falling flat on my face while playing the guitar, impresses you.”
Kame grinned. He had never forgotten that scene especially the way Jin had looked at him after the fall. Looking all horrified and embarrassed but somewhat adorable.
He then sat up and straddled the other, leaning down to cup the older man’s face and softly said, “How does it possible to anyone to not love you?”
Jin gazed at him then without a word pulled him closer, kissing him gently.

“Is daddy and Uncle Kame at home?”
Ryo glanced at Pi and his friend nodded his head at the question and then asked, “Why? Do you want to go back home?”
The boy looked at the both of them, brows etched together in a deep frown.
“No.”
Ryo watched his friend stared, looking very curious with the little one’s expression.
“Why?” Pi asked.
Miroku pursed his lips and stared at Pi as if Pi had lost his mind. Ryo couldn’t help to snicker; this boy is now officially dubbed by him as the most adorable kid he knew, other than his niece of course.
“And I thought that you are daddy’s best friend.”
“I am,” the other replied in confusion.
The boy looked confused too, “But doesn’t best friends supposed to know everything about his best friend?”
“I know everything,” Pi protested and Ryo shook his head in disbelief. His friend is practically having a squabble with a kid. He had been sleepy but now, witnessing this all of that sleepiness had gone.
“And you don’t know what daddy and Uncle Kame do when they are alone?”
Pi blushed and Ryo couldn’t stop himself from blushing too although they are still not sure what Miroku is hinting.
His friend looked at him, horrified, mouthing, “Did he know? He is just a kid. A 4 year old.”
Ryo knew that he shouldn’t ask but he was curious. “And what did they do Miroku?”
Pi gasped in horror, hissing, “I am so not wanting to know.”
“Adult wrestling,” the boy simply replied before adding, “And Uncle Koji said that it is best not to be around when they are wrestling. Things could get dangerous and a child like me is not suitable to watch violence.”
Ryo immediately broke into peals of laughter whilst Pi groaned, covering his face with his hands, muttering, “I am not hearing anything.”
“I like you,” he grinned and the boy grinned too, completely oblivious with what he had said.
“And I like you too Uncle Ryo.”

Jin breathed out, suppressing a groan, his eyes never leaving the man on top of him.
“You like that?” the younger man whispered huskily, moving so slow that it drives him crazy. Jin knew that he could just push the other onto the bed and have the pace he had been dying for but he didn’t.
Something had happened to Kame before the accident with his mother though he didn’t even mention it to him and the last thing he wanted was Kame pushing him away again.
Then Kame suddenly stopped moving, making him whimper in frustration.
“Kame…”
“I am okay Jin,” the beautiful man on top of him whispered, as if knowing what he was thinking, and then bends over to him and that slight movement made him tingle.
“I am sorry for pushing you away.”
And only from those words, Jin pushed the younger man onto the bed, fingers interlacing. Kame frowned from the sudden movement but then smiled.
“That’s more like it.”
Jin chuckled, “You are going to like it more.”

“Do you think that they had stop?” Pi asked softly then threw Ryo a worried look, “I really don’t want to see anything that I am not supposed to.”
“It’s quiet.”
“Too quiet,” he replied still not moving from the front door.
Ryo raised an amused brow; Miroku in his arms, both of them were sporting the same look.
“Well, if you are not sure, you shouldn’t have let us inside in the first place.”
The older man then shrugged as he continued, “Beside, it is already late morning. I doubt that they are still getting it-…”
A loud moan interrupted Ryo and immediately he told the little one in his embrace to cover his ears before giving him a glare.
“What?” he asked annoyed.
“You shouldn’t have let us inside in the first place,” Ryo repeated tetchily.
“How should I know that they are not finished yet?” Pi retorted back and it was loud because after that they heard a loud thud and panic voices talking in whispers.
Then they heard footsteps walking towards them and came into their view standing in the middle of the living room was a disheveled Jin, looking at them in wide eye panic.
“Guys!” Jin greeted after a while looking relieved but then the expression changed into annoyance
“I thought that someone had broken in. What the fuck are the both of you doing coming in so quiet?”
“Jin, watch your words,” a proper looking Kame warned as he walked straight into the kitchen. Pi felt grateful for it.
“What the fuck! What the fuck! What the fuck!” Miroku chanted gleefully and he watched Jin furrowed his brows, taking the little one from Ryo and said firmly,
“Miroku, ‘fuck’ is a bad word.”
The little one frowned, “But you liked saying them daddy.”
A ‘I told you so’ was heard from the kitchen and Pi couldn’t help to grin whilst Ryo snickered at the horrified expression Jin was wearing.
“Look,” Ryo spoke up, a scheming smile on his face, “What about if every time daddy here says the ‘f’ word or any bad words he will give you anything that you ask.”
Jin glared and Miroku was staring at Ryo in awe.
“You are very smart Uncle Ryo!”
“A very nice idea,” Kame was already standing beside Jin with a wide approval grin on his face.
And as he watched the 3 men started to bicker, Pi couldn’t help to smile. He liked this. Before, every time anything happens concerning Jin’s mother, Jin would always shut himself off and acted like he did not care.
But Pi knew that Jin actually cared. She is the only family that he has.
And from what he was watching right now, Pi knew that everything is going to be okay.

Ryoko sighed softly as she stared outside through the window. She wished that she could go outside and enjoy the nature but then… she glanced at her broken leg, it will be hard to move around in her condition.
She was still staring outside when she felt someone’s presence standing beside her bed and when she turned, her heart stopped for a moment before beating wildly against her chest.
Ryoko gazed at the young man standing at her side, utterly speechless and when she was about to smile when the other said,
“I’m here doesn’t meant that I am going to let you back into my life.”
Her smile faltered as he continued on saying, “I’m here to thank you for what you had done for Kame.”
“He is a very nice man,” she replied trying to keep her voice calm.
“He is.”
A smile on her son’s face made her smile too. And she really wanted to touch this man right in front of her but she didn’t dare. Then she looked away, sighing.
“I understand if you wanted me to not go near them anymore.”
Jin didn’t reply for a few moments and it was so silent that she glanced up again to look at the other.
“Miroku liked you and I don’t want to be a bad father.”
And with that he left and when what her son meant finally dawned on her, she couldn’t stop the tears from falling down to her cheeks.
“Thank you…” she whispered softly.
