I think that this pairing is quite awesome and has a lot less squick about it than say, Cyclops and Emma Frost. Storm's badass and awesome, Emma Frost has too much.....shall I say....earthiness to go that well with a guy like Cyclops. Storm, OTOH, is both mature enough for him and the two are the most well-balanced leaders who've led X-Men teams. An awesome pairing all around. ^.^

This!!!!

I won't lie, when Emma first hooked up with Scott, I liked the idea of the straight arrow hooking up with the bad girl. But what the writers have done to Emma is unforgivable.

I don't read X-Men all that often.

So I'll ask about the only X-Men media that I'm familiar with;

what did you think of X-Men Evolution? And their take on your favorite characters?

I loved X-Men Evolution and loved its reimagining of the X-Men. Scott's characterization probably contributed to making the 616 version the badass he is now.

I was also pleased how they handled Storm.

I'm pleased to hear that. Especially since most of the X-fans I have talked to (save for a few including you) hates X-Men Evo.

I think that was one of the stronger points of the show was that they put characterization over action. It could have still used a little more actions scenes though. The costumes were great aswell and normally I don't even like the majority of the X-costumes I've seen.

Scott was great in the show and I remember trying to get into comics and was like 'Buwhu!' at all the Scott-hate/dickery that I saw (that and I felt like I needed a flowchart to keep up with the X-books--and that was after M-Day!).

My only problem with this, is that if it's taking place in current continuity and isn't a dream or some such, it violates not one, but two current pairings ( ... )

Ororo's not exactly the sort of woman to cheat on her husband on a whim.

My prediction: Marvel aces Black Panther.

They just might, given Marvel's track record.

Worse, he's cheating on a telepath.

A very stupid thing to do, obviously!
