Edits Galore
The Empyrea edits continue. I've been working heavily on tightening up the first half of the novel.
While it's taking longer than I'd like, it's a good thing because many of the weaker scenes are lightyears better than what they previously were and the plot is a lot tighter than previously.
I've been reading a few novels and examining the storytellers' writing styles. I've certainly been taking notes of successful techniques they employ.
While at work, I've been scribbling out scenes in my notebook and typing them out in my laptop later.
Kieran is in the middle of a pseudo-date with the prince which is developing quite nicely. Pretty sweet for the two adorkable characters.
Working on this novel while challenging is rewarding because I'm writing the stories I want to read. Stories
I know a lot of other people want to read.
