More and more, I get #1. It's always made sense but more and more I GET it. Really? You only believe I should be equal if I kiss your ass and make you feel good about it? And my friends should only be equal if they kiss your ass? And my family...? Then you know what? Kiss *my* and we'll call it good.

Oppression exists on different spectrums. As we all are aware.

You clearly made a point in the piece that you are not against marriage equality, just that you are over the fake BS surrounding it and that it will not solve everything.

Trust, bridal registry looks pretty sweet and having your relationship actually celebrated like straight relationships in every single culture and religion seems like a nice thought, but I will be having my marriage in the court house to get all of the rights that are much sweeter.
