So you're probably wondering why the world didn't end on Dec. 21, 2012 as the Mayans had predicted.

There's a simple answer, the Doctor. Doctor Martha Jones.

Yes, the internet memes and rumors are true. Dr. Martha Jones saved the world yet again.

You see when she learned of the impending danger, she did the impossible and halted the earth's destruction without raising a fist or aiming a gun.

And like the time when she defeated the villainous Timelord, The Master, time was reversed so most of us don't remember.

But a few of us do and we will never forget.

So we thank the Doctor for saving the world, yet again.
