White Hot

Nov 25, 2011 09:44

It's no secret that I have an appreciation for fine ass men of the caucasian persuasion. So I was more than smitten with my girl Ankhesen Mie when she composed a most excellent post entitled White Boys I Dig.

A most impressive list, it features a lot of guys I would list.

Ankhesen then threw down the gauntlet and asked me to compile a list:

So what kind of white boys do I dig? Aside from being smoking hot, they often have brains, charisma, quirks and an x-factor to them. I must say, skimming this list down to 20 was a lot more difficult than  I thought, but all kinds of fun.

So here are 20+ white boys who can hit it any day that ends in Y, twice on Friday and thrice on Saturday.

Aaron Eckhart- Oh where do I begin? Thank You For Smoking? Those piercing eyes, that magnetic charm, that sexy voice. He's got a confidence and style and swagger that simply cannot be denied. As if I'd deny him HA HA HA HA HA!!!

Alan Ritchson- This man actually made Aquaman cool on Smallville. Model, singer, actor, he's one of those guys who consistently stays hot and I never get tired of gazing at him. For obvious reasons, OBVIOUSLY!

Anthony Stewart Head- I love getting some Head any chance I can get. I've been smitten by this man since those legendary coffee commercials. My moniker Ripper was in honor of him, and watching Merlin was very difficult. He played Uther too damn well. I hated Uther with a passion and wanted something violent to happen to him, then I remembered, NO IT'S TONY HEAD, WE LOVE TONY HEAD. And the man can croon like no one else. Check out his music if you haven't already.

Benjamin McKenzie- If there was anyone who can claim the title of a modern day James Dean, it would be McKenzie; particularly with his role of brooding Ryan Atwood on the O.C. He definitely has an old soul to him which makes him 20 kinds of sexy.

Chris Isaak- I've been smitten with the man since Wicked Games. And three guesses what activity I'm often engaging in with a sexy stud when Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing plays. And when he got his naughty on in A Dirty Shame, I was done. Yes Chris Isaak has that Super Magic 2000 like no one else. His music does for me what Luther and Barry White does for countless others. Yes, it's like that.

Christian Cooke- I became a fan of his after Doctor Who and Trinity. He was the one redeeming quality about Demons. Well that and the shirtless scenes.
I

Daniel Craig- Before the rest of the world knew him as Bond, I became a diehard fan of Craig's during the legendary shower scene in Lara Croft: Tombraider. Blond hair, piercing blue eyes, insane bod, he's also a gifted actor and convinced me that not only could another actor replace Pierce Brosnan as Bond, but 007 can also be blond. Now that's mad acting skills.

David Tennant- While he is my favorite Doctor bar none, I actually first discovered tall thin and quirky in Harry Potter: Goblet of Fire. I was more than taken with him. And then when I learned he would assume the role of Doctor Who, I was more than stoked. Tennant is such a talented actor that more than once his performance has taken me out of a scene because I'm like, "DAMN THAT WAS AN INCREDIBLE PERFORMANCE!"

Gale Harold- The driving force behind Queer As Folk, Harold possesses a predatory magnetism and a sharp wit that's unparallel. He needs a role where he plays a vampire because he's got the style and swagger that Eric Northman, Spike and Damian Salvatore WISH they had.

The Clippinger Twins-  I never get tired of staring at any of their pics and they have this classic All-American quality that just makes them flawless.

James Marsden- This will shock absolutely no one who's known me for five seconds but I've been a huge fan of James Marsden's for many years. Because....well....look at him!!!!!

But don't get it twisted. This accomplished model/actor/singer is more than a pretty face. Like Sarah Michelle Gellar, I think Marsden chooses very unique and cerebral roles and doesn't often get the credit he deserves for being such a talented and versatile actor.

Not surprising, he's starred in some of my all time favorite films: X-Men, Superman Returns (yes I love that movie, shut the fuck up) and Interstate 60. If you haven't seen Interstate 60, I can't stress enough that you need to buy/rent this film. IT'S THAT GOOD.

John Barrowman- Do I even need to explain? THOUGHT NOT!!!!!

Mark Valley- It's interesting that this man has starred in not one but two of my all-time favorite television series: Keen Eddie and Human Target. He's another stud that's got a very laid back swagger that just makes him irresistable.

Matt Dallas-  He's another actor that's blown me away with his acting ability. And for anyone familiar with the show, there's a reason why he will always be Kyle XY.

Misha Collins- The only reason I can watch Supernatural (along with Bobby) at this point. I follow him on Twitter and I've seen him in interviews and let me tell you, this larger than life actor is nothing like the awkward nerd angel. By the by, Powers That Be, I haven't forgotten about the dreamcasting: Midnighter movie starring Misha Collins. Let's make it happen:

Robert Gant- Future Hubby #1 won me over as adorkable hunky professor Gentle Ben on Queer As Folk. He won me over again when he came out of the closet and shared his story. Then he won me over again with his advocacy work for senior citizens in the LGBTQ community. Then he REALLY won me over with his powerful performance in Save Me. Brains, brawn, character, they don't build them much better than Mr. Gant.

Ryan Gosling- I've been taken with him since Young Hercules and I've enjoyed watching him evolve as both an actor and a singer. And as much as I love me some Gosling (and for that matter Marsden) I .....WILL.....NOT......UNDER.....ANY....FORM......OF......COERCION....WATCH.....THE NOTEBOOK!!!!!!

Rupert Evans- He was actually the main reason I went to see Hellboy (and his absence was probably the reason I've yet to see Hellboy 2). I enjoyed his work on the TV series, The Palace. He's another actor who has the boyish innocence but strong leading man qualities.

Sam Huntington- I've been a fan of his for years. He's another actor with the adorkable charm. I was huge fan of the web series, It's A Mall World, and now I get to see plenty of him on the American Version of Being Human. There is no bad.

Sean Faris- I've been swooning over this prime hunk of beefy goodness since David DeCoteau's homoerotic flick The Brotherhood II: Young Warlocks. While I've followed him in his other projects, Reunion (which was great), Life As We Know It (also an underrated series),  Never Back Down, the Vampire Diaries and even The Sleepover (shaddup), Faris will always be my John Van Owen.

Sean Maher- It's been well-documented here why Sean "The Bod" "I'm Too Pretty To Be Legal" Maher is a big damn hero of mine. If you're just joining us, click the link to find out why. And by the way, this bitches, is what we call a flawless victory!!!!!

Tommy Knight- His role as Doctor Who and Sarah Jane's son  adorkable British boy genius Luke Smith won me over. Said adorkable charm has carried over into other roles such as the short, Paris and the Three Goddesses. I never get tired of watching him.

And here we are.

doctor who, qaf, epic, james marsden, allen clippinger, david tennant, robert gant, alan ritchson, kyle xy, everything about this post is awesome, luke smith, torchwood, dragon con, music
