► Fon Clan;
A family of lesser nobility who pride themselves on their martial arts prowess, swordsmanship style and manipulation of chi for performing kidou and the like. Members of the clan who fail to perfect at least one aspect are cast out. They are a medium sized clan (19 in number) who reside in the level of Elysium (most often seen near Chinatown) and because of said skills, are often employed or hired by the people residing in Elysium, taking up jobs similar to that of secret services. They were formerly affiliates to the Uchiha clan, but since the other clan’s downfall, they have mourned the loss of a fellow clan and kept to themselves more than usual.

► Uchiha Clan;
A noble family with ancient roots in Elysium going all the way back to the founding of the city by their ancestral father, Madara Uchiha. Although Madara was executed for treason all those centuries ago by his fellow city forefathers, the Uchiha clan itself was always regarded with respect as a pure bloodline known to produce powerful warriors and genius minds, all due to a genetic power which even outsiders have heard is centered in their eyes. This powerful family was charged with the leadership of Elysium's military forces, but every last member but two was wiped out in a famous tragedy nearly ten years ago. The eldest son of the final Uchiha clan leader, Itachi, turned on his family, slaughtering each of them save his younger brother, Sasuke, who was lucky enough to have been away from home. Itachi vanished from sight and for some reason was never pursued by the city's law enforcements for this crime, even when he resurfaced years later as the leader of Akatsuki. Sasuke has since also vanished.

► Anatoly Sergievsky;
Information: A newcomer to the city but one of its quickly rising stars, Anatoly has done a great deal to popularize the game/sport of chess, and he's the current undisputed champion. He's been interviewed a few times about his story - his childhood in Russia, how he felt cut off from his dreams, and how Neo Genesis has given him the chance to be who he wants to be. This is played with maximum sap and pathos, of course. He also has starred in at least a few commercials.
O R G A N I Z A T I O N S
► Akatsuki;
Stationed in: Elysium
Information: Very little is known about the inner workings of the Akatsuki, but their existence itself is known by those throughout the three levels of the city. Although they are an organization consisting of and operated by criminals, their power is such that even law enforcement does not interfere in their deeds. Essentially a yakuza family, they work to keep the streets clean of the kinds of scum found on the lower levels, which means that even law-abiding citizens are grateful for their presence. Most of their membership is kept quiet but their ring-wearing members are powerful enough to have gained fame in the community and they do not keep their membership a secret, usually donned in distinctive black cloaks with a red cloud pattern when they are in public. These uniforms are a warning to everyone, even the police. Akatsuki members are extremely dangerous and deserving of respect.

► Scar Chain;
Stationed in: Abyss
Information: A vigilante/rebel group located in the Abyss, formed mainly of people who were previously experiment subjects. The majority of the people present are escapees of or those abandoned by the Deadman Wonderland experiment. Members are usually seen wearing masks in the shapes of various birds; the leader is marked by an owl mask. Highly secretive and difficult to contact, and only those with connections in the Abyss will be able to find much about them. Their goal is to shut down the inhumane experiments running in various parts of the city, as well as the other levels. Their activities focus solely on that goal, and they have a strict agenda against involving civilians in any way.
Contact: Secure network channel, open only to those who have good connections. Unhackable, untracable, protected with a passlock ; the combination between the network frequency and passlock change after every use, making them nigh impossible to break into.

► The Turks;
Stationed in: Elysium
Information: The Turks are an organization that operates through all three levels of the city, though their headquarters is based in Elysium. The Turks operate for a specific line of businesses, though the rate they charge is much higher if a client is outside of the companies they work for. The Turks specialise in scouting out potentials (research specimens, workers etc), espionage, murder, kidnapping, body guarding or any dirty work. You name it; they’ll probably have done it sometime.
Contact: Approach their headquarters at Elysium and inquire at the front desk, where possible recruits/clients will be directed to an on-duty Turk who is in charge. Otherwise, refer to Turk member phone numbers or plan a direct meeting with an already existing member of the Turks.

► Wammy's House;
Stationed in: Elysium
Information: The Wammy's House Orphanage was designed to take in gifted orphans and raise them to succeed L in the event of his death. The kids themselves have very little contact with the man they are trained to emulate and many know only as much about him as the rest of the world does. The orphanage is arranged in a strict "hierarchical" system where the orphans compete against each other in each generation for the honor of being selected as L's successor. The environment is often cutthroat and allows little opportunity for growth as individuals, instead focusing on filling young minds with "L" and only "L".
