Who: Hidan and Shika; OPEN!?!??! Where: The suburb/streets of Terra When: Just at the start of mod event pt. III Summary: They are on their way home when things just fuck up hardcore. Rating: PG-13? Other: Continuing from here.
Hidan didn’t even wanna go home!, but if he didn’t then Shika would just be moping and shitting himself and all the same crap that he had to deal with when the kid was nine. He just ignored the younger now as they went into the house, and let Shika do his shit-eating cloud-gazing as Hidan went up to their room and put the computer on full blast to play that godforsaken Finnish music that become a addiction.
When the sky started the change Hidan didn’t even notice it at first, instead he was laying down on his bed and placed his arms under his head, gritting his teeth with frustration and being his usual irritated himself. What the hell did that crimson circle mean? Maybe if he went to sleep then everything would be better - and that would have kinda sucked, but still, it was better then having every shithead in the city frozen. If Hidan had to deal with Shika all by himself --
"Huh?!" He spoke when he felt a quick rush that went by him. Was that Shika’s parents or something? Looked like someone pressed the fast-forward button on a remote. He quickly got up from the bed and ran to where Shika was, muttering unintelligently, "Holy shit! You should see your mom and dad!" When he was ignored, he kicked Shika at the soft of his knee only to continue with aggravation, "Oi! Fuckface! Are you even listening to me!?" But when he looked up at the sky, well - "Man...this is so damn tippy, ya’know?" A paused before a snerk, "I kinda like it."
Shikamaru was so busy staring that he didn't notice Hidan even left. What the hell could be making the sky do that? Not just the sky, he figured, but time itself was all messed up. Had he been right about something being wrong with the time-space continuum? That was like something out of a movie, not any kind of real explanation. Still, what else could explain this?
"--Ow!" he cried as Hidan kicked at his knee. He bent over to rub at it gingerly, shooting a glare up at his brother. "What the hell? Yeah, it's... Wait, did you just say something about mom and dad?" His gaze immediately snapped in the direction of the house. "Are they okay? Did they wake up?"
Fucking hell! Why was Shika so fucking stupid! It seriously pissed the older off and he just wanted to punch the weak shit to the ground for being such a pussy. The kid seriously needed to grow some damn balls!, and as for the surroundings and sky and whatever weird shit happening? Hidan just had to laugh darkly at it, fuck yes it would be the end of the world and if Hidan was lucky he would be the last one standing and be God’s advocate!
Hidan grabbed a fistful of Shika’s hair and jerked his head up. The older was still wearing his hoodie and wore a large murderous smirk before shoving his brother away. "Dude, they’re dead!" Okay, so they weren’t, but watching Shika’s reaction would be pretty awesome, "Seriously! Just goes to show what happens to you heathen fuckers!"
Shikamaru hissed with pain when Hidan took him by the hair, his eyes stinging with tears. He kicked uselessly but didn't need to anyway, Hidan released him and his ponytail came half undone which made him look like even more of a mess than he already was with his face all dirty and blood-smeared. He was not in the mood for these kind of games today, dark eyes glowering at Hidan with more hatred than he'd been able to muster up in a long time. Sometimes Hidan didn't seem like a brother at all, just some person he didn't know who wanted to torment him for no reason. Just because he could.
"Screw you," Shikamaru spat. His parents weren't dead, he wouldn't believe that kind of bullshit from Hidan's mouth. He turned away and ran for the house. He'd make sure they were alright on his own.
Was Hidan meant to feel kinda guilty? Well he kinda did. He snorted arrogantly and placed his hands on his head briefly, just looking at the spazzes that went around the city and murmured to himself. "Tch, whatever."
For a few moments he stayed still, letting his bottom lip jut out before following Shika back into the house with his arms limp by his sides. Once he saw the other teen Hidan rushed up to him and wrapped an arm around his brother’s waist. What the hell did Shika want from him.
"Oi, you know that even if your parents are dead, I’m like...not dead and shit, right?" Yeah, he was trying to comfort his younger brother, but he doubted it would work since he was nothing but a heartless cunt.
Shikamaru had stopped to catch his breath, trying so desperately to keep himself from freaking out. Hidan was just being a lying asshole, and he didn't know anything about his parents, and everything was going to be just fine as soon as he found them. He swore he wasn't going to cry until he was alone and then he could let it all out, but until then he had to be strong and make sure everything was alright.
The house was dark now that night had fallen and he couldn't see anything yet. He hadn't reached the lightswitch before Hidan got a hold on him. "Stop it," he growled, hands curling into fists as he grabbed Hidan's shirt. "Stop saying that. They aren't dead. Where are they?"
God. Hidan felt so damn pathetic with his arm wrapped around Shika’s waist, pathetic and gay. He looked down at his brother and grumbled to himself only because he was sick of this shit. Maybe he should have just slept it off or whatever.
"Hey, Shika. Shut the fuck up." He growled heartlessly in return and was dead fucking serious, "Jesus, you can’t even listen. Alright, they aren’t dead alright? They are probably fucking in their beds right now, so why don’t you get your ass up there and check?" And with that he shoved Shika away and turned on the lights himself with a hiss. He turned around and leaned against the wall. His expression hardened, "Tch. You know what? Do whatever the hell you want! I’m going to bed."
What was the point in asking? Hidan always did this, it was like a compulsion. He'd say the worst things at the most horrible moments just to make someone feel bad. He probably didn't even know why he did it, he just found it amusing. But Shikamaru wasn't laughing. He wasn't even sure he was glad Hidan wasn't dead. Right about then, he was pretty sure he'd rather Hidan was dead than have to deal with him saying anything else like that.
"I hate you!" he shouted, and who cared if it was the most immature way to end an argument?
But then he heard his mother's voice call sleepily from upstairs, "Shikamaru, are you fighting with your brother again?" And although he usually dreaded that question, it was the best sound he had heard all day and he turned immediately to dart upstairs.
Hidan really knew how to fuck shit up pretty well. Could get better tomorrow of course and even though the bastard hated people for the sake of it…well, Shika was basically the only person he didn’t detest. But he sure as hell wasn’t going to apologize so he went upstairs, totally ignoring that hippie bitch that was called his mother. (bullshit, he would kill himself if he came from her cunt) and went into their room.
The music was still playing pretty loudly and he was damn pissed off. He picked up the radio and just tossed it out of the window just because turning it off by the button just seemed so damn hard.
"Man...the hell’s up his ass?" He questioned himself. Or probably God, or probably the assholes down in the streets having spasms. Hidan sighed and then went to his bed, he didn’t sit on the piece of crap but instead he sat down on the floor and leaned against the edge of it.
