[THREAD] Nothing Like a Good Distraction

Summary: After this phone call, Duo and Selphie meet up to have some fun playing video games because Duo needs to get his mind off what he saw in the park.

Duo made his way towards the arcade. He was actually looking forward to this. He'd talked to Selphie a few times on the 'net and then over the phone. He was pretty disappointed he'd missed her party, but he really hadn't felt like going out. Originally, he'd considered asking Quatre if he wanted to go, but, once the blond arrived, he really just wanted to relax and stay home. However, now, he was looking for anything to distract himself. Sitting home, even with homework and chores, just wasn't quite enough to keep the images out of his head. So, here he was, walking down the street, sort of watching his back, hoping that a good gaming session with Selphie would keep things going for having his mind off things. Quatre had stayed over Monday and last night, but both of them had school and work today. He wasn't sure what time the blond would be coming back, so he'd given him the extra key that morning in case he wanted to come back again that night and he wasn't back from the arcade, yet. He'd stopped home just long enough to shower and change before heading back out.
He stepped into the arcade and glanced around.
