Sasuke could believe what he would like -- but Itachi would not let himself be obligated to fuel Sasuke’s own personal petty vendetta. Instead when the other’s eyes had flashed a dangerous red, Itachi barely glanced over his shoulder in a condescending manner before he continued to walk down the long hallway. Even with the threat of electricity that could fry his nerves had emitted from the other, Itachi only dodged the ability as though it was nothing but a child’s toy that was tossed in a tantrum, and the older Uchiha was not about to indulge the other in pathetic thoughts of revenge.

A large crater had erupted at the opposite side of the wall caused by Sasuke’s irrational anger and urge for destruction, but Itachi did nothing but gaze at the other, boredly. Letting out a low exhale, Itachi only murmured softly, "You're pathetic if you thought you could kill me easily enough with such a pitiful technique." Though, the words themselves did not hold any firmness and simply tossed in the air without much care for a reply, because Itachi was not about to listen to stupid reason.

With his hands in his pockets, the Uchiha started, once again, to walk down the hallway without much care for the other’s urges and eagerness for foolish actions.
