Here Capella was hopeful that they were going to find Zeroes, but they were dallying yet again. He supposed that he shouldn't expect anything else from Lay. If he didn't push him to work, he would never get to see those ruined bodies and begin to eat until he would be satisfied for years to come. Maybe one of the Zeroes will come and they can begin their job. He didn't care if people saw them work, not really. He'd just begin feasting on all the witnesses. Continue eating on and on in an never ending loop.

Standing at the counter, he was grumbling softly at the person who was taking his order. "Bacon wrap. Rare." The cashier looked confused but he continued ordering calmly, almost monotone. "Coffee. Black." Reaching into his back pocket, he had not noticed Lay move to give him money so that he could pay for this meal and beverage. There was mild surprise in finding money as he couldn't remember the last time he had money. Easy to be fed so long as there were creatures to eat.

He slid the money over the counter, took a single step back, and stared at the young meal's eyes -- and waited for his order to come up.

Looking out into the world beyond the glass of the cafe made him feel strange, as if he was an ordinary passerby with no outstanding features (save for the suit) just having an early morning breakfast (if only coffee counted). If he was in a line-up alongside citizens, chances were that he wouldn't be picked out easily. Or would he? Lay gave a twisted smile, waiting patiently (or not) for Capella to return with the items.

He was tempted to teleport upstairs and back-what the hell, he wouldn't be missed and the booth would be unoccupied while he'd be gone. Lifting the cigarette as if dumping the ash, he flickered out of sight and into another booth on the second floor. Nobody had noticed. And they wouldn't have, since he was gone the next moment and back. The family seated in front of him stared momentarily. Lay stared back, until they resumed eating. Albeit, nervously. It had almost been worth the doing.

Ah, what a slender wrist. Would the Zeroes have such slender wrists? This thought came to him when his order was handled to him. He was being told that he did not have to stand so close and could have waited until he was called. Capella did not acknowledge these helpful suggestions before he snatched coffee and wrap in his hands and began walking to where Lay sat.

"If we rest for too long, we are going to be scolded." Capella finally said as he handed the coffee over to him. He took a bite of his bacon wrap -- his face turned into a soured expression. This was frozen and warmed. It wasn't fresh. It didn't have the same feel of a fresh meal. The heat from that sort of taste was much better and warming. Much, much more delicious. What should he do?
