Someone claiming to be her father on the network. Her father and Tyki's brother. Rhode had to laugh at the ridiculousness of it. Laugh, and seethe. Like anyone would convince her that that Genkaku wasn't her family (that she was adopted didn't matter) or that they, some stranger, had any right to be so familiar with her. She'd prove them so very wrong and make them beg for forgiveness. Not that she'd forgive them, but she'd make them--him, Cyril--beg anyway.
Rhode had called around until a hotel had owned up to a Cyril Camelot being registered. Jotting down the address, she'd hopped on the next train to Terra, munching on candy and swinging her legs as she rode. She could have had someone drive her, but she wanted to do this alone. Nataku was busy, and Tyki was lazy--and maybe she felt just a little protective. Tyki could join the fun after the lunatic was safely chained in the manor, with Nataku there. It didn't matter that Tyki was part of the Akatsuki, and probably just as deadly as Genkaku, he was too easily bossed around. What if this lunatic was persuasive?
It was better that she came alone.
Getting off the rail at the nearest station, Rhode walked the few blocks to the hotel, keeping an eye out for Cyril--though she realized she wouldn't recognize him, the first one that approached her would have to be the man. If he really knew her as he claimed to.
