"I can walk on my own," Shikamaru snapped. But it would be better if he didn't. So as he pulled himself to his feet, he pretended to lose his balance. And he fell straight forward, catching Yaha's shoulders so he wouldn't collapse. This brought them face to face, and Shikamaru wore an expression of horror that was actually quite real.
He forced himself to keep clinging to Yaha. "U-Uh," he stammered, bowing his head sheepishly. "Don't get the wrong idea. It's just my ankle."

Shikamaru let himself recoil just as much as he naturally did from Yaha's touch. How had this guy not been arrested already? Had Yaha ever encountered a man he didn't molest? Well, soon it would be over anyway. And at least Shikamaru had learned what he needed to from that fall. He had the weapon. Now he just needed the opportunity ( ... )
