It was odd being back inside four walls again. The house in Abyss - it was really more of a hut, to be honest - gave the impression to be more open than the tiny apartment he'd reclaimed with a bit of... persuasion. Sometimes, Kirin wondered if he wasn't screwing up horribly, coming back to the 'above'. After all, the person he was looking for... he'd seen him in Abyss last time. He'd just assumed he'd go back up too. That train of thought was doomed to a circle, though, and he scratched himself with a huff. Nataku said he'd drop by, so he should be about soon. Kirin wrinkled his nose and rolled over and off the futon set behind the screen.
He'd manage to drive out the scent of the man who'd taken over - damn the smokers - but his natural disorder hadn't finished spreading over the room. Well, dinner with a friend was a good way to feel home again, right?
