There was something especially unappealing about consuming food in the company of other people to Nishi, so per to a mannerism spanning for as long as he could remember he had vacated the cafeteria immediately after purchase. This counterpart of the school led directly outside to the school grounds. Nishi sat down on a bench situated in the shade of the building and looked out into the disproportionate football field, marked by blotches of dead grass.
He took a bite out of his sandwich and mused on whether he should participate in the coming lessons or scale the fence and go home as he had done on numerous occasions with varying but in all insignificant penalties.
Because he was friendless, because he seemed lonely a party of unfortunate students was shuffling in his direction, weaklings, victims of mockery and adolescent violence. He read the intention off their ugly faces before they had the time to flap their jaws: they wanted him in their club of failure. Nishi spoke first, "Shit, don't you have some thug to pay off so you can breathe another day? Do me a favor and purify the gene pool by asphyxiating yourselves." Nishi took another bite out of his sandwich in his regained solitude.
