Vincent, figuring that his regular outfit looked nice enough, had gone ahead and picked that to wear. It was best this way, for the both of them. If something happened, it would be easier to pull out his gun. So he walked into the Emporium, the door announcing his arrival with its' usual jingling sound.

Aerith heard Vincent enter the shop, and happily bounced down the stairs, stopping in the doorway. "Hi!" she beamed, excited to see him. She of course had heard from Irvine about their little conversation, but she also trusted her own judgment, and knew that one date wouldn't hurt. Walking over to Vincent, she reached for his good hand. "Ready?" she asked, her face glowing with excitement. She could still hardly believe she was going on an actual date.

At least Aerith seemed to be happy about going with him. A voice in the back of his head told him she was just pleased to be going on an actual date, but he inwardly insisted that a girl like her would never be happy over going on just a date. Surely she, just as he also thought, that it also mattered who you went with.

Along that train of thought, Vincent Valentine didn't ask just anybody on dates whenever. "Is there anywhere in particular you wish to go?" He asked, his good hand closing gently around hers.

Of course, Aerith was happy to see Vincent again. If she didn't enjoy his company, she wouldn't keep finding odd jobs around the shop for him to do -- jobs that Irvine could do, since he was almost completely healed. She liked the idea of going on a date, but she wasn't so shallow as to accept one from someone she didn't like. For most of her time in middle school and high school, Aerith had heard about Vincent from other girls. Then of course, there had been the notes about him on the walls and such. She had thought at the time that he sounded interesting, and could hardly believe that now she was on a date with him. Still smiling, Aerith looked into his eyes. "Well, I've never been to Chinatown but I hear its really fun. Would you like to start there?" she knew Chinatown wasn't the best part of Terra, but Aerith was counting on Vincent to protect her if anything happened.
