Misa stood outside the arcade, questioning herself. She was waiting for some stranger from there to take her to the circus...and she was doing this willingly why? Hadn't she made it clear, cr-y-stal clear many times that she hated all Abyssians with a passion? That they had murdered her parents and that they all deserved to go away? That none of them had any sense of morality, and as such, they were worse than the scum on her shoe (not that there was any)?
But the Prince, Belphegor...he said Prince's don't lie. Playing tricks on people is mean. Why? Why did he actually seem all right, considering...? Misa just didn't understand. She had thought they were all bad.
What if she had been wrong?
She didn't like to be wrong, though considering her circumstances, this was one time that she hoped she had been wrong (if only a little.) She didn't really like the idea of dying.
Standing on the corner in front of the store, Misa nervously clutched her shopping bags and looked around her, trying to find the prince. "Belphegor?" she called. "Belphegor?"
