[THREAD; Awkward visit is awkward?]
Who: Yosuke Hanamura and Quatre R. Winner.
Where: Asciepius Hospital.
When: Late afternoon of the 6th.
Summary: Seeing an old friend.

It felt bad. Well, more than bad. He had said on the Network that he had no idea who Quatre was. That was a lie. He knew him. Well, knew him when he was younger naturally before he had moved to Terra. Yosuke was fairly sure that they got along fairly well with one another, but he let stupid things get in the way of continuing to be friends with him. Stupid things like his own pride. They were the same age, goddamnit, and Quatre was already the head of the Winner Enterprises.
His father certainly thought that Yosuke should be doing the same with his life instead of still being in high school and getting mediocre grades. Still, he probably shouldn't have let something like that bother him so much. It wasn't like Quatre could help it? What was he supposed to say anyway: "Hey, could you stop succeeding because you're making me look bad?" No. So, like a child, he just cut ties with him and pretended like they were strangers. It seemed like that was better - or at least, easier for him to deal with.
So why was he escaping the easy route that he gave himself by bringing flowers to Quatre's hospital room? And why flowers? Well, he seriously couldn't think of anything else to bring. It seemed weird to bring candy and a deranged person just comes in with balloons. He couldn't even remember what Quatre liked anymore. (No, that was a lie, too. He just wanted to pretend that he forgot so much so that it would maybe make him feel so awkward about this trip that he would leave).
Walking slowly down the hallway, led by a nurse - who apparently thought he needed someone to hold his hand if he was to visit his old friend, which by the way was really hard to prove to people, he kept wondering if it wasn't too late to just call the whole thing off. But then he thought that if he did that, he wouldn't have changed much from when he was a spoiled brat. He'd just keep running away from things. And that's not what adults did, right? Right.
