Well, last night my modem went belly up. Specifically, it no longer registers Ethernet connections (wireless works fine).
I've done a bunch of checking, and apparently this is a common problem (Linksys WAG54G2) with the cheap-arse capacitors used in these modems.
I plan to get a new (different) modem but is there anyone around who knows a bit about electronics and would be wiling to replace the capacitors? I haven't done anything like that since high school and having a spare modem is always handy.
