Good news, bad news... (some PC specs speak below)
Wow, am I ripping the local morning news show Unang Hirit or what?
Yet another long hiatus since my last post, and I missed making a post on New Years Day. Eurgh...
Anyway, the good news is that I finally got my new PC last December. It has a Pentium 4 3 GhZ processor, 500+ MB RAM. If I were to play Generals or Battle for Middle-Earth with those specs, it might be fast.
But the bad news is that I haven't got a decent graphics card capable of running Generals or BFME. (It's using a graphics adapter integrated into its motherboard.) Also, it's a branded PC (an Acer Power F1 PC), so I dunno it's okay as a gaming rig (the fact that the CPU casing is not an ATX doesn't help matters. To top it off, my Dad doesn't want me installing games on the new PC.
(Jeez, like, come on! I'm finding Yuri's Revenge to be a tad outdated already!)
The new PC is not connected to the net though, so I'm using the old hunk-of-junk that can only surf the net and which the only 3D real-time strategy game it could possibly play is Emperor: Battle for Dune.
Thank God I was able to play Generals during my week-long vacation in Tuguegarao, though. But it would be preferrable if I were able to play Generals or Battle for Middle-Earth on my new rig. Heaven and Earth will be taken away from me if I can't. *weeps*
