Bloodrayne 2

This game...rocks. Why? Because your a half-human, half-vampire chick who kicks major ass. Because the storyline is decent. The character models rock and the action is visceral. Plus, Rayne is hot, very hot. But she's not scantily clad, and her outfit makes sense, and her blades make vampires dead, very dead.

The mechanics work brilliantly as you decapitate, mutilate, dislodge, throw, shoot, burn, rip, crush, and basically F*** everything up that gets in your way to avenge humanity against the dark legacy left by Kagan in the first game as the rest of his children, the brothers and sisters of Rayne, are left to do his dark bidding.

Rayne has a lot in common with Selene in underworld, but no werewolves and Kate Beckinsale is still hotter. All in all this game will thrill any gamer who likes a good bloody romp, decent story and any guys dark chick fantasy all comes true.

Only complaint is the acrobatics seem a little stilted and the environmental hazards aren't a choice, they are scripted in. But minor complaints.

The Punisher

Oh....my.....gah.....I just threw a guy in a pool of Piranhas after asking him where his boss was, I drove a drill bit through another guys head, did I just shove a knife in that other dudes ear?

The Punisher is visceral and unforgiving as you kill punk criminals just about anyway you can imagine, electric eels, chainsaws, mercury smelting, choking, punching, making them bite the curb, and yes, there's even a rhino that helps in one of the special interrogations.

Good gun combat and good death sequences, rated M for good reason. You get to use, a whole array of cool weaponry. The interrogations are intense and well acted, and Thomas Jane who played in The Punisher Movie as Frank Castle, outdoes the movie with his great voice acting. Great locales and nice scenery.

My only complaints are that you can't lean up against walls and shoot around things, but that's not really Punishers style, he just mows things down and that makes sense. Otherwise a great game.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas

...............................

This game is so good that it makes me want to go out and make my Altima a pimp mobile.

I can't think of a complaint for this game besides that there's no restart point in missions, but there's never been a restart point in any Grand Theft Auto game so why change it?

I can only say a laundry list of good things about this game. You can drive......everything. You can shoot, everybody with a TON of weapons.

This is the first game since God of War and World of Warcraft that I give a

10/10.

The Suffering: Ties that Bind

Creepy, do not play this game by yourself. It will scare the hell out of you. The combat is excellent as you can fight demons with everything from a steel pipe to a rocket launcher, Torque is the guy everybody wants to be, the badass, however unlike his counterpart Frank Castle, Torque has, inner demons, that are actually real. He is the result of quasigenetic demonic mutation experimentation and in order to be cured, the evil doctor, scientist, dude who created all the creatures that span the science of reality from the nethers of hell, he has to kill his adversary, the one who got him into the crime game that led to his supposed murder of his wife and children, which it's never really clear whether or not he actually killed them. You fight these demons and its scary, the dark environs are reminiscent of Doom 3 in that the scare factor is pushed to the limit and I can only play this game in 30 minute increments.

My only complaint is that the mutation rage is kind of forced upon you to make you get out of scripted situations, while being the monster part of Torque is cool, I'd rather like to choose to be when I want to be. Otherwise good game and scary as hell.

Gun

I love spaghetti westerns, Josey Wales, The Unforgiven, Tombstone, Quigley Down Under, and even modern day treatments that give you that western feel such as Once Upon a Time in Mexico and El Mariachi. So when Red Dead Revolver came out I jumped on it and it blew me away with it's western feel. Well, Gun outdoes it in so many ways except one. Realistice horse physics, great gun fights, sweet quick draw systems, and great boss battles. The only thing that it doesn't have is showdowns......c'mon Red Dead did great show downs, why doesn't Gun have showdowns? Also the main story part is too short, you can beat the game in 5 hours if you skip all the side quests, if you decide to do all the side quests its an 8-10 hour romp, but the game's story keeps you going, and its great voice acting is top-notch. Hopefully they'll be a longer sequel.

Well that's all for now my friends. Stay Tuned.
