Goodbye, Little Red One
Last night, my beautiful fish, Scales, passed away with G-d. He died quietly and, I hope, in peace. He lasted well over a year, which is a real miracle for a delicate fish such as him. I'll miss him. I always thought I'd go back home and see him in his huge fish tank in the living room. Now, he will be buried in the backyard, as I requested. I cried, when I was told the news. Yes, I cried. I'll miss you, Scaley. Rest in peace.
