It is so hot, man. I'm in my room with the AC on, and this makes me feel so, so bad. Cuz I really don't like to waste electricity this way, but Tobey, Jimmy, Greshelinkins, and me -- we're all hot and sunk. So, AC it is, for a bit ( Read more... )

That's great about the job! Aww sounds like they love you already.

I don't have much more to add about your date cause we already talked about that. It was pretty ballsy of him to ask you out to dinner tonight when he just met you today. hehe

Your whole bit about shamefuly admiting you liked the Bee Gees makes me laugh cause it reminds me of something with my brother. I was at his house and his room mate and I were sitting at the table, and my brother announces to us that he likes some Bee Gees songs. My brother's room mate kind of makes a face, and I can't remember if he said something or not. But them my brother was all like, "Come on! They had some good beats!" Then he proceeds to sing one of the songs... maybe Staying Alive and does the little disco move of pointing the finger in the air. If you knew my brother... it was funny :)

The job is way cool, yeah. Way!

Your brother is funny, yeah. I can just see him making that face and those gestures, and everyone cracking up. Ha ha! Man, it takes guts to admit he likes Bee Gees. Ha ha!

Damn, now I've got More Than A Woman stuck in my head.

I like the Bee Gees, at times. (Jive Talkin'. Oohhh god.)

"It's wonderful to see you, it really is a thrill, you're such a lovely audience we'd like to take you home with us, we'd love to take you home."

Gaaahh, it's in my head now.

And...I normally get stones flung at me for NOT being a huge Kiss fan (though, some of their songs are cool) and I don't like Judas Priest. *shrugs* I just don't.

Have fun on the date, btw!

You dislike Kiss? Ha ha!
Noooooooo!

Kidding.
I don't hate Kiss-haters. Judas Priest is not my kettle of tea either. They're Ok, but I don't get excited by them. Ha ha.

But, I respect. I think I've always respected folks who admit to liking bands I find silly. Like, well, Helloween. Not my type.

Oh definately, I think that there is something amazing about KISS, I just don't like them. Priest doesn't appeal to me. *shrugs*

I respect them for the fact that they are phenominal groups and they opened doors but...meh.

*coughs and grins* I like Helloween...Lia, a friend from Rockfic, got me into them.

It's OK! You can like Helloween. Heck, a dude I like a lot love 'Ween. I don't -- but, I respect others for liking them. Honest. I respect you for liking them, and it's Ok that you don't like Kiss.

To me, Kiss is unique, because they are so bold.

Ha ha!

You...like the Bee Gees? Honest?
Man!

Say, wasn't NSync or BSBs who did a Bee Gee tribute at some awards show, once? Youd' know, I think.

I do like the Bee Gees and the whole reason I even got interested in them was because of a medley Nsync sang while at an interview in an Orlando radio station one afternoon!

But, the Backstreet Boys did do a medley at the 2000 Grammys that began with How Deep is Your Love, then went into Papa Was a Rolling Stone, followed by I'll Make Love to You and finally ending in their own single at the time, Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely...

And it's quite sad that I can still recite things like that off the top of my head. :D

I KNEW it was BSB !!!
I saw that live. And I remembered, but for some reason -- I was starting to doubt myself. I remember they did a loooovely rendition.

Why is it sad that you know facts about your favourite artists?
