Didn't feel the thing. Why?
I spent about 3,5 hours reading it after another unsuccessful attempt to pass my last exam in this semester. (Surely not hoping that Harper Lee wrote something about Lie groups! And never again!.. oh...)
I was absolutely exhausted, because of nerves rather than thinking hard, Gife was tired too and lay sleeping beside... It was like I merely listened to noises in the next room, too sleepy and apathetic to try and catch a word in those sounds.
I've read the book carefully and thought about it. I do remember the storyline, the characters, I can even quote a few phrases. But I didn't feel it like I know I could! Maybe I'll reread it in couple of months. It might be interesting to read it in English, this time it was Russian translation. But I'm going to see fabulous movie with Gregory Peck anyway.
