Nadia's most excellent day and the irritation of CHAVs in libraries.

I've been in a really good mood all day, it's strange, but very satisfying. Actually sleeping has gotta help, it really has - I hate when I prove myself wrong >> Oh well, more fun this way round.

History was sparkly. ...no, really, it was! For some reason now unknown to me I got my glitter out and made Ana, Katie and Emma very very glitterly. As well as myself, of course. I tried to make Mr. Maynard glittery, but he resisted. He was wearing a pink tie with purple dots and a pastel pink shirt: he is now equated in my mind with Mr. Richards. The 2nd New Deal = stoopid.

I read Diva in the library for a while today... that was an interesting experience. Sadly, it was basically all the magazines I hate but with extreme lesbian bias. I wasn't terribly impressed. Thought about reading Gay Times, just to investigate but couldn't really be bothered and was already getting hostile looks from the guy sitting at the next table.

Then the CHAV-brigade arrived... I swear there's meant to be a rule about having phones turned off in libraries! Apparently not because she stood right in front of the desk talking to a friend in ridiculously loud voice about pound coins for bingo at 5:45. I didn't need it! If she'd been talking that loudly near me outside I would have wanted to slap her, but in a LIBRARY? I might have worked up the interfering impulse to ask the librarians to get them to shut up, but they were talking as loudly as the girls were. Seriously, whatever happened to the sanctity of libraries? The books need quiet! They need their rest! *snuggles poor disturbed books*

Anyway, that's that. =) Back to coursework... Oooooor not.
