Writing Goals
"How many elehpants we got?"
"I just done 'em, boss. We got three."
"You sure?"
"Yes, boss. Easy to be sure with elephants..."
That had nothing to do with anything.
Nadia has writing goals for 2009:
1. Win a writing competition of some kind.
2. Finish a book.
3. Put together a portfolio for Master's applications.
"Too many miles, not enough elephants", you might think? Well, "where a thousand elephants want to go, not a lot's going to stop them"...
Ah, Pratchett.
"An ostrich here, a giraffe there... it's not the sort of thing you get remembered for, is it?"
