So, yes, I still have several hundred words to write in the next couple of hours.
Yes, I stil haven't started my Roman History essay (which Katarina is going to talk to Alston about for me *loves on Katarina - all hail the subwarden of awesome*) BUT good news heals many wounds.
My archaeology essay (assessed) handed in last week just came back with a very welcome First (72%). You... would not be totally wrong to describe me as bouncing off the walls right now. First 1st of the term, unless you count Greek tests (one of which I'm getting back in about three hours' time, wish me luck). SQUEE. And that was from the lecturer who reckons she hardly EVER gives Firsts unless they're really exceptional essays. I don't mean to blow my own trumpet, here, I'm just very very blown away by this unexpected good news.
