a poem: GREEED
I was inside my Grade 5 class asking them to write a 4-stanza free-verse poem with 4 lines about anything the thought of and they found it hard to begin so I suddenly thought of OOO and began writing on the board. And here it goes...
GREEED

"Define what you desire;
Something that will inspire
your life of solitude,
Alone you can take gratitude...
"Greed is a form of sin;
Something all of us has been;
But do you think it is bad to be?
Maybe... for not all the things you desire are for free...
"What is your greed?
Is it something the world could heed?
My greed is the world itself;
One thing to help its people to rest...
"Greed, may it be bad or good;
No one else could be so rude.
It is just too good to be true;
I'm greedy just like you!"
