There Was Much Rejoicing
After being forced to eat Robin's Minstrels I got a call this morning before class from FG, the man who interviewed me. I got the job!! :D So exciting! Well, technically I'd heard that I'd got the job from my manager at my current position on Wednesday. He jokingly called me a traitor before realizing they hadn't asked/told me that I had the job yet and said 'You didn't hear anything from me, okay?' Silly. You're still my fav manager in Transportation.
So, WOOO!! Only seven more days in transportation, then I start training on the 14th of Feb and the only thing I'm kind of worried about (other than school projects) is that I might not get Mar 26th off for MegaCon... :\ If not, I can go just Friday (25th) but Saturdays are so much cooler. :) But, there will always be more conventions, this job can be offered to someone else!
Thanks so much for the celebratory gift card a_war_goddess! I'd wanted to email/call you with the good news but someone else got there first, as usual. XD I shall use it to buy Mass Effect and celebrate the end of Winter-een-mas in style!
