The haps; a crazy weekend
Alright, so I haven't posted in a while. Let me update you, friend!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I had a good new year. Did you? I celebrated with my friend Alma and her brother (also my friend) Warren. We spent the night hogging a table at our favorite bar. We drank too much, ate some snackies, etc. The most exciting part of the night was when we went on a talk to the nearby Steak-n-Shake. Warren, unfortunately, tripped and cut his face a bit. We didn't notice till like ten minutes later when he had a frozen stream of blood on his face. Really freaked out the Steak-n-Shake peopel! (It was a small cut, really! It just bled a lot!) On a similar note, have I ever mentioned that I'm allergic to the cold? I was too drunk to realize that I broke into hives on the way to the Steak-n-Shake. Stupid weather, being too cold!

SCHOOL'S IN.
My classes have started again. This is my last semester at the university, which unfortunately means that it's my most busy semester yet. It really sucks, to say the least, and I haven't even been in class for a week yet. My classes may yield some interesting material, though! I have a print-making class, so maybe I'll make some RADICAL Heard-related prints! also, I'm taking a Flash class, so I may end up making animations for HEARD. More on that as it comes up. :)
WEAR YOUR SEATBELT.
I decided to go down to Montgomery, AL (the capitol of this fine state) to participate in an anti-DOMA protest. Before I could even leave the city, though, the car in front of me flipped off the on-ramp.
Please don't flip your SUV when you're driving in front of me. It really freaks me out. I grabbed my phone, called 911 and jumped out to see if I could help. One of my friends , Drew, jumped out and ran down into the ditch with a guy from the next car back, and they found the girl inside OK. She hadn't been wearing her seatbelt, though, and had some pain in her back and neck. So, we couldn't get her out of the car or we could accidently worsen any injuries. So, we just kept her company until the ambulances arrived. I left after that but I assume she wasn't more than mildly injured.
POINT IS: If you flip your car and I am driving behind you, I will delay my trip to jump out and make sure you're okay. But it really freaks me out so don't do that, ok?
BACK ON THE ROAD!
Despite the late start, I ended up getting to Montgomery. As you can see, the protest had a pretty good turn-out. The capitol area was a bit abandoned, though... we probably should have gone somewhere more visible. We only got flipped off twice. A few people gave us nasty looks or ignored us, but a surprising number of people honked and waved or gave thumbs up.

THE VIRUS: VANQUISHED .. FOR NOW?
So it was about ten days of battling almost nonstop but I THINK I got the virus taken care of. Seriously, it's been a huge disaster. But, I think it's taken care of. Hooray! That means I won't have to spend week backing things up, reinstalling windows and every single program.

I'm really sorry about the lack of an update recently. I've been trying to get used to my new schedule and life and haven't had much time to think about updating. I'm going to get a page done as soon as possible and I'll let you know what the new schedule will be.
