Wow, okay.. so.. earlier this week I got an email from Dell, telling me they were shipping out my replacement computer, complete with a tracking number and everything. So, I tracked the package-- and it was going to the COMPLETELY wrong address. The address made no sense at all-- it was going to "University of Alabama"-- to some completely arbitrary address in TENNESSEE. (I've never lived in Tennessee and don't have any connections there, so I don't know why that happened.)
I called Dell, franctically trying to stop the shipment from taking place-- because, of course, there was NO WAY I was going to let someone else take my computer. After being given the runaround for hours-- I finally get to somebody who will help me. By this point, my system has already been delivered, and somebody-- who I DO NOT KNOW-- has signed for it.
Dell assures me, over and over, that the notification I received was a mistake-- and that my new system had not been completed yet. But, no matter how many times I ask them, they CAN'T tell me what's in the box, and why it's associated with MY customer number. There's NO reason for them to ship my old laptop (no parts are still working, the entire thing needs to be disposed of properly), so.. they wouldn't be shipping my old laptop. I still don't believe them for a MINUTE, but they won't investigate any further.
Today I get an email from Dell, asking me to do a follow-up survey-- asking me how I like my new laptop, delivered on the 14th.
..... Those motherfuckers sent my laptop to that asshole in Tennessee. I fucking knew it. WHO'S GOING TO JAPAN WITHOUT A LAPTOP!? ME LOLOLOLLLOL!!!!! I'll be damned if I let that happen.
I'm going to call again tomorrow-- just like I did today (and they completely ignored me and my concerns lollololol) and I'm not hanging up until I get an answer.
This.. is so bad.. for my heart. I'm so stressed right now.
