I've just read a wonderful and very sad John/Brian story by old_blueeyes... Your Ghost.
If only John had really been responsible for going through Brian's things. Much better than the competitive grab for possessions that actually seems to have occurred. Carrying off personal diaries, unpicking monograms from shirts, and all.
