Veronica Mars' speculation...

...under a cut...

There's been much speculation about Logan's possible participation in whatever caused the bus accident. As a restless LoVe 'shipper, I must defend the boy. In fact, I have some ideas of my own.

For those of you who have seen and remember clearly what happened on episode 1.22, you probably recall Jake Kane's words to Aaron Echolls when the latter was being arrested: "I'm going to destroy you and everyone you have ever loved!" So, here's what I think:

Logan was beaten by Weavil and his gang until they gave him broken ribs and a concussion. So, it's was humanly impossible that he, after the beating session, wrestled with and stabbed a man to death. In regards to what happened on the premiere, here's what we'll see in episode 2.03 according to UPN : "(...) at Logan's house, Veronica learns something that changes everything she thinks she knows about the town's recent tragedy."

Putting two and two together, we have that Logan will probably rise as the main suspect in the bus tragedy (he's been already charged for murder but wasn't convicted). But (once again I evoke Jake Kane's words) what if this is all part of a huge set-up to destroy Logan's life (and consequently his father's)? Aaron is already in prison, but what better way to put an end to a man's hopes than ruining his family? The elder Kanes are outside Neptune, out of sight, in a priviledged position regarding making plans to eliminate the Echolls. I know Logan's innocent. Rob Thomas knows Logan's innocent..lol.
