Two drabbles

Tortuga. That’s where Barbossa would look first, so Jack went to Kingston. He’d commandeer a ship and crew. After that, he could get to the Fountain of Youth and remain himself forever. That was the plan, but when Jack saw the Pearl at the Fountain’s isle, he wanted that undead monkey back.
“What are you doing here?” Jack demanded of Barbossa.
“Me? Why, me and me crew had to stop off for water, and this was the nearest island.” He replied with what seemed like perfect innocence. Jack glared, and wandered off.
Barbossa wasn’t surprised when the Pearl vanished after.

Whilst his crew found another stream to drink from, Barbossa watched the horizon as the small ship neared. He smirked and waited for Sparrow.
When Jack demanded what he was doing, Barbossa replied that it was the nearest isle to restock at. Sparrow didn’t know that he’d been to Mistress Ching for directions,
After Sparrow had gone, along with the Pearl he noticed, Barbossa took what he wanted. After he made sure that he had what Mistress Ching wanted, and with what he wanted, he set sail in the smaller ship.
Barbossa was welcomed back to China with open arms.
