It shows that there is now a generation of people being born that will know an America in which presidential candidates AREN'T all old white men. They were born during and after a time when we had not just a black man running for president as a major-party candidate, but also had a woman who ran valiantly against him in the primaries.
Soon, I hope this is the generation who knows an America in which a black man is president. Perhaps after that, they will also see a woman in the white house.
