Round 2 - 01/11/08 - 04/11/08
Kirby and Master Chief was easy to see coming because of Big Boss and Raiden knocking each other out, thought I lost two points for getting the order wrong. Master Chief would have been expected to win that based on previous years but Kirby ended up being stronger. He got boosted by Brawl AND Super Star Ultra? That's the only thing I can think of.
Hogger got flattened, predicted that. Leon took second place but my bracket had Riku doing that for some reason. I must have been overestimating Leon getting weakened by Dante + the usually strong KH vote. WAY overestimating.
Auron over a Sonic that was getting drained by Sandbag, predicted that too. Don't worry, Sonic will get his revenge next round when Auron and Sephiroth split the Square vote now that one of the unholy inanimate object trinity (L-Block/WCC/Sandbag) is finally out of the picture. Meanwhile a Sephiroth-weakened Tifa finally bites the dust. The theme for this update is definitely "split fanbases".
