Doing a rec list for modern Supernatural 8tracks mixes. These are kind of all over the place but the main theme is that it's more modern music, not classic rock and not overtly southern gothic oriented.
A King and His Knight - ladygates15 Hail to the King - Avenged Sevenfold

Back in Black - AC/DC
Dead Bite - Hollywood Undead
Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes
Change (In the House of Flies) - Deftones
Bad Things - Jace Everett
99 Problems - Hugo
This playlist is just really fun to listen to, disregarding the subjects of the mix. There's some truly weird stuff on here, including the first Jonas Brothers song I've ever heard. It's fun to listen to though, and long so its good for cleaning or writing or walking around and listen to.
Hey Brother - allison-arrgents Til the Casket Drops - ZZ Ward
Kill of the Night - Gin Wigmore
Beat the Devil’s Tattoo - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Bad Moon Rising - Morning Ritual
The Devil Takes Care of His Own - Band of Skulls
Broken - Lifehouse
Landfill - Daughter
Hey Brother - Avicii
Glory and Gore - Lorde
Running Up That Hill - Placebo
Run Boy Run - Woodkid
King and Lionheart - Of Monsters and Men
Fate Stay Night - Love & Hate
The Funeral - Band of Horses
Losing Your Memory - Ryan Star
Another fun mix, a lot of indie music (I guess?) on here and it's shorter than the first mix, better for listening to for an hour or so between other things. It's a dark mix in content, though not all of the songs have a dark feel.
Same As Before - dreamingfeather Intro - Alt+J
Welcome Home, Son - Radical Face
Together - The XX
Laugh, I Nearly Died - The Rolling Stones
Alleyways - The Neighborhood
Flaws - Bombay Bicycle Club
In the Back Seat - Arcade Fire
Broken Crown - Mumford and Sons
You Were a Kindness - The National
O' Children - Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
Trembling Hands - The Temper Trap
Where Is My Mind - Maxence Cyrin
Holocene - Bon Iver
The Enemy - Mumford and Sons
My Good Deed - Shearwater
Old Haunts - Memoryhouse
The Storm - Boy & Bear
When the Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin
Too Late - M83
This mix is a hot mess when it comes to genre. There's classic rock, indie, folk rock, some punky stuff, etc etc. It's a lot of fun and I really enjoy that the focus of the mix overcomes genre divisions. Also, it has When the Levee Breaks by Led Zep on it which is pretty much a selling point for me at any time.
Faith in Shreds - slutadean fanmix challenge - favorite characters (5/10): Dean Winchester
Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd
Pompeii - Bastille
Gale Song - The Lumineers
Thistles and Weeds - Mumford and Sons
Knocking on Heaven's Door - Bob Dylan
Weight of the World - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club
Ain't No Grave - Johnny Cash
Rattlin' Bones - Kasey Chambers, Shane Nicholson
Amsterdam - Imagine Dragons
This is a short, dark mix for S8 Dean and I feel like it's pretty fitting in tone. It's a mix of classic and modern rock and is pretty much all old favourites. Good for driving music.

Marked Man - Mieka Pauley
Ain't No Rest For the Wicked - Cage the Elephant
Born to Raise Hell - Graham colton
Stone in My Hand - Everlast!
In Came the Flood - Wintersleep
Surrender - Angels and Airwaves
Giving Up the Gun - Vampire Weekend
Brothers - The Black Keys
Ramblin’ Man - The Allman Brothers Band
Down in the Valley - The Head and the Heart
Red Hill Mining Town - U2
Radio Silence - Turin Brakes
One last dark mix with a lot of new songs on it. I love the dark tonality of this mix, even including the U2 song. I also thought Ramblin' Man was used to ultimate effect being put in the middle of all these other songs. It's a great mix for Dean and I really enjoyed it.
