Wooo November~
October has come and gone rather quickly, it's amazing how time flies when you're really looking forward to something. Now under the 2 month mark from when I get to meet Ria and gosh I can't remember the last time I've felt so excited for something, hell I don't even know if I've ever been this excited before period. Things have been really good overall lately, the past couple of months have been like waking up from a nightmare, I feel like I've got that bounce back in my step again ^_^
One sore spot, though, was this last weekend my grandfather wound up in the hospital :/ He lives alone but my family has checks on him to make sure he's ok and such and his neighbor also checks up on him for us. But anyways, he is diabetic and recently his doctor decided to change his diet. But I guess it wasn't agreeing with him cause on Thursday night he passed out in his bathroom while he had the sink running, apparently hitting his head hard on the counter before falling to the floor. He was like that for nearly 20 hours... the sink had overflowed eventually and he was just laying there in cold water for the longest time. My cousin was the one who ended up finding him after he wasn't answering his phone, she was the closest to his house so she went to check on him, saw water leaking into the kitchen from the bathroom above and had to call the police to break in. So that's what happened, at first they thought he had a stroke but they later determined it must've been due to his change in diet. I went to visit him yesterday with my family and he was doing alright, he was acting like himself, complaining about the hospital food :p
