I'm bored, so I re-casted True Blood!

Edit: I added Alyssa Milano for Lorena, she's right after NewBill!

As you might have guessed, the coloured part are the new actors and the b/w part is the regular cast.
Please don't be offended, I love the True Blood cast aswell and believe me, I'm disappointed too, that there
weren't too many options for Tara and Laffayette.
And don't ask me for Sam - I just... I can't bring myself to care even a little bit for the dullness that is Mr. Dullguy Merlotte.
Otherwise you're welcome to ask for other TB characters, I just didn't want to include everyone, because it would be so, so long!
(And because I found it hard to decide on someone for Lorena, for some reason.)

Sookie Stackhouse - Emilie de Ravin
If someone HAS to be a fairy hybrid, it's Emilie de Ravin. She could easily pull of the Southern
Belle and Bill/Eric/Alcide/random other men definitely would want to fight over this girl! The
accent she can learn - they all did, after all. And it's not like I'd notice the difference anyway.

Jason Stackhouse - Ryan Hansen
He doesn't bring the perfection of Jason's body, but he has the same, boyish sunny personality.
Jason is mostly awesome because of Ryan Kwanten's portrayal, but hey, we're talking Dick
Casablancas here!

Tara Thornton - Yasmin Deliz
She'd have to be tough, but not too cliched-sassy. Sadly, it's really hard to find an African-American
TV actress in that age range portraying anything but "black friend" or "sidekick" or two-line roles. Anyway,
I liked Yasmin on "Cougar Town" and she looks a little like Wayne Brady (who I chose for Laffayette).

Laffayette Reynolds - Wayne Brady
Have you SEEN him on HIMYM? He's no Laffayette (noone ever will be), but he's got so much
sexappeal and comedic talent (See "Who's line is it anyway?") that he would be pretty awesome.
I also considered Wilson Cruz (Ricky on "My So-Called Life"), but Wayne just has this magnetic
power Laffayette needs.

Bill Compton - Jon Hamm
What, he's supposed to be hot in an old-fashioned way! And he he has to look over thirty, dark
and brooding, portray believable war memories and be dorky and adorable with New!Jessica.
And then there's the issue of having to compete with Ian Sommerhalder and Josh Holloway!
Jon Hamm would be awesome for that role!

Lorena Krasiki - Alyssa Milano

Jessica Hamby - Freya Mavor
Freya is as good, if not better, at portraying teenage emotions than Deborah. Also, she's so pretty
and impressive, and she's actually and believably 17. Deborah, while wonderful and talented,
looks easily my age. And I'm 22.

Eric Northman - Ian Sommerhalder
Do I need to go into it? He's just perfect for it! (Just FYI , I also thought about Jonathan Rhys
Meyers, but Ian won, he fits in better.) The Viking thing might be a bit of a stretch, but it's not
like Alexander Skarsgard looks believably like a viking, he's just freakishly tall and blonde.

Pam Swynford De Beaufort - Miriama Smith
I just love her. In fact, her role as Moz on TT might be why I loved Pam so much the moment
I saw her; they're very similiar. And then there's the fact that Pam is... well, Pam. You gotta love that!

Sophie-Anne Leclerq - Dita von Teese
This one was pretty simple. I don't think it's necessary to have Sophie-Anne be that young
(and Evan isn't a teenager like in the books anyway) and I'm sure Dita could pull this off.
Plus she NAILS this style!

Russell Edgington - Jeremy Irons
I just love Jeremy Irons, ever since Lolita. And his new show could be called "Boring Borgias",
so why not have him do something else? Russell's role requires a magnetic world class actor!

Nan Flanagan - Morena Baccarin
Normally I wouldn't want to make Nan younger, because it makes sense to have her look
40ish, but still hot in a conservative way. If she was this young, pretty thing, it would be less believable.
Then again, did you see V? Morena was so many layers of epic in such a dull, dumb show that she
NEEDS to get out of there. And if you've seen her on V, the "why Nan Flanagan" question is answered
already. She was press person and blood-thirsty HVIC already, after all. Even if the "V" stands
for something else entirely. Also, Morena + power suits!

Steve Newlin - Matt Ross
Steve Newlin was portrayed great, he was the cutest evil presence on TV ever! But maybe it was
a touch too much goofball and too little conservative, impressive church guy. Matt Ross has
practiced that on Big Love. He also already knows how to play "repressed homosexual",
so there you go.

Sarah Newlin - Jayma Mays
I love Jayma Mays, she's adorable, and her Glee character makes me think she could
portray Sarah very well. And I feel the need to give the cast a redhead back, after taking two away.

Alcide Herveaux - Josh Holloway
I don't care much about Alcide, really. But it's Sawyer! And he'd be shirtless non-stop!
I just couldn't resist! He also could play this raw, sweet guy and make the southern drawl sexy again.
And stop Laffayette from being just muscles and... well, nice. He'd be interesting.
