Thank you! Ah, season 1... though I loved season 2 even more!

I don't think so... as far as I know season 3 was the unpopular one. But season 2 had a lot of bullshit in it - like Serena and Dan getting back together for the 100th time, even though nobody cared, Vanessa and Nate and a wonderful, suspenseful introduction of Traumnovelle (aka Eyes Wide Shut) elements that ended up with Chuck falling for a boring, slutty nanny in 5 seconds flat and Carter Baizen showing up to do nothing and Nate and Vanessa playing piano in an empty house. Though I might be the only GG fan who really doesn't give a sh*t for Carter Baizen. Or Dan, especially when he dates Serena. And Vanessa. And worst of all: Rufus! But they must still have fans, somewhere.

OMG no, that would Georgina never found Jesus, Serena never got interesting, Chuck and Blair never had their 1000 ups and downs, no Jack Bass... the really horrible things that happened in season 2 were mainly just... Bart dying. Instead of Rufus and Vanessa. Everyone who's seen OC knows that it's bad for the show to kill off the interesting rich powerdevil who owns Manhattan! Oh, and one thing that I can understand, if it makes people hate s2 (even Gossip Girl as a whole): people talking about Serena's "potential" instead of saying "boobs". I love her, but she's not smart, no real Ivy League would ever accept her, and she's not a Mary Sue, but the way they explain away everything she does and make her the glorious, misunderstood tortured one... they started creating a very nice character, whose beauty was maybe a bit overrated by everyone, but as I said, boobs. They make people do things. Which does not excuse them still talking about her "academic career" and being "in love" with someone else after every commercial break, while ( ... )
