Delft, part 1

Outside, it was still raining.

While walking to the museum, we saw baby ducks with their mom, awww!

So small!!!

Wheee!

That's when I told *L.* how weird it is that we always see Eurasian coots everywhere, but no babies...

We visited the Prinsenhof Museum, because we didn't feel like seeing paintings of only one painter. It proved to be an excellent choice! They had the weirdest old paintings in there, a murder scene and ancient medical stuff, with skeletons and all... awesome!

One of the rare paintings depicting the circumcision of baby Jesus.

I want that jewelry!

Meanwhile, in the background.

Interesting imagery!!!

That painting is a real nightmare!

Where Guillaume d'Orange was murdered in 1584.

Thre were tons of ceramic bowls, but I have to admit that I'm not really interested by that.

Now THAT, I like! :p

This is where it gets really interesting! The last part was dedicated to science and the beginning of autopsies.

They were really proud of their progress, so they had paintings done to commemorate it.

The guard probably wondered why I was taking so many pictures in that room...

Oh how I'd love to own something like this!

We went outside again and it was still raining, heh. But, while walking back, we actually saw those mysterious Eurasian coot babies!!! Weird, huh? They look so different from their parents! And apparently, we don't see a lot of them because those birds are mean and can kill half their babies because their screaming for food gets on their nerves! It's like the whole specie have a constant migraine. :p

We bought a couple of souvenirs and then we were off to our next destination. ;)
