So I caved...and pre-registered for Otakon this year. I also registered to volunteer, because I'm broke. I can't think of a single convention I've attended in the past several years that I didn't volunteer or staff at for that reason, lol.
And no, I'm not cosplaying. Heh. I think it will be good for me, though, to try and socialize.
I still need to find a place to stay, but if nothing else, maybe I'll meet someone there who will let me crash on their floor. :P
