acute bronchitis is NOT fun
so a few nights ago, i go to bed, and find that i wake up every hour or so because i'm having trouble breathing. no big deal, i think, just one of those nights... so the next day at work, i feel like absolute shit. i went home early and tried to sleep again, but i couldnt. i got up from bed and i couldnt breathe. everytime i tried to speak i'd gag and cough... so.. my mother thought it was best for me to go to the hospital.
so i'm there and theyre running all their tests.. i have a fever of 102. thats it? i think? not that big a deal. then the doctor wanted to take an xray of my chest, and so he did. results came in, and i'm infected with acute bronchitis! ahhh! this is probably the worst virus i have ever had. i couldnt sleep for two days straight, i cant eat, cant breathe normally, diarrhea, abdominal pain, fever, and the chills! i was given some antibiotics, doctor says i should be good by saturday... but i'll still be coughing for like a month.
