There's a rant upcoming, which is kind of sad, because I was enjoying the rant-free space.
The problem with this essay is that, to communicate how far language has fallen, the author uses some language in the wrong fashion. (At least, I hope that's what they're doing; I'd hate for it to be sheerly unconscious!) But the letter from Abraham Lincoln is wonderful, and worth reading.
