See, we have very little food here. No lights to cheer the gloom outside. No LIFT bus to take us shopping. No chocolate.
We still have no clue on presents, we won't know for a few days if we can shop. And there's still the upstairs/downstairs split.
But I rest content. Why? Because we have food enough; we have good things to drink; we have holiday specials to watch, and good friends, and we aren't dead. Things could be worse.
