I got a late start this year, but *generally*, October rolls around and I replace my icons with appropriate seasonal ones--so horror, autumn, Hallows, pumpkins, ghosts, goblins, long-leggedy beasties--whatever I find or have.
How'ver, due to the grace of dear friends, I also have a permanent LJ account. And every two months of 'paid' account nets me two more icon spaces.
At this point, I have 144 icons. Which means to my brain, I had to fill 144 icon spaces with Hallows fare.
I swear, this time next year? I'm capping at 150. I don't think I want to find more than 150 icons for ANY season.
Because, between this October and last, I burned through two hard drives. And while I have all the icons saved on PhotoBucket, I *don't* have them saved according to seasonal tags.
Should I? Likely. Did I want to wade through 400+ icon makers to track down and tag the holiday icons? Hells, no. :)
