we need a hood ornament

This guy's either a genius, or he needs medication. I am honestly not sure which.

Jason Castro does 'Over the Rainbow' up right. And Natasha Bedingfield does a grand job with her latest, too.

A word, now that it's been brought to my attention: apparently the people behind Parts: the Clonus Horror are suing Dreamworks, the makers of The Island.

I have problems with this.

1. It's a fairly common plot; similar things have been seen from the specific (The Island) to glossing around the edges of the idea (Logan's Run).

2. Several books, including Michael Marshall Smith's Spares, have been written with a similar plot.

3. Parts: the Clonus Horror was one of the worst films ever made. They want to be compensated for that piece of dreck? Why, for the love of all things? The Island, for all that it was also a crappy film, was a better film. Get real.

On the funny side? Dreamworks settled out of court. :)

Orange is contagious, who knew?

We must prevent the orange from taking over!

This is not a good sign:

Dear gods. And they've grown eyes! And fangs!

Just in case you were wondering? This:

is a sugar glider (gwynnthiere, yes, don't click this).

And far too few fashions, and then it's off for dinner-making!

I, uh...have no idea. The one on the far left almost looks normal, save for the very stiff-looking arms, and the head wrapping. But all the rest of them? Induce severe WTF.

Um...listen...when the engineers start talking about string theory? This is not what they meant, okay? So just stop. Go sew these girls a real dress between them and leave the rope at home.

Another really, really stiff dress from China Fashion Week. What the hell is going on? This looks like it would be uncomfortable as hell.

I am known for making strange clothes. I was the one, after all, who made the patchwork armor dress; the blend of olive drab turtleneck with peach satin cuffs and asymmetrical hemline; who started extending all my turtlenecks so they'd cover my wrists and the backs of my hands.

I admit this.

Which is why you should listen when I say this outfit is WAY TOO WEIRD FOR ME. The strange elongated I-don't-have-arms, I-have-tubes sleeves? The bizarrely cropped jacket? The heavy grey ROPE around the bottom of the skirt?

WAY. TOO. WEIRD.
