No, really. I'm not kidding. You're going to want to.
It started with the link to a trailer that
zebragrrl sent me, for
Lost Boys: The Tribe. I watched it. I couldn't believe it. I watched it again. Ow, the pain.
I thought, this had to be a joke. IMdb says,
it's not a joke.
Notes from the
Upcoming Horror Movies site:
* Kiefer Sutherland's half-brother Angus Sutherland will play the main boss vamp. (is this a recommendation?)
* The "Frog Brothers" will return, as well as Corey Haim as "Sam".
* it's part of the WB's line of straight-to-DVD sequels.
Uh...
And
Wikipedia reports that filming has started.
*facepalm*
Okay, must move on, elsewise brain will curl up and DIIIE.
This is the most inventive idea ever. Childrens' books you can look through virtually. This one is especially cool, as--like the
Mouse series before it--there's no text here, yet it tells a story. Making it perfect for very young children, clear up to people who can't read, but who want to learn--it's a good intro. (And check out the Mouse series too--really, really innovative series of books. We have the one I linked, we want the others, because they're so very cool.)
I...um...
what? Listen...not that this will ever happen to me...but for the locals? Like, people in my home? You don't see me for a day, and you figure out I'm in the bathroom, you might just want to figure out why I'm in there.
TWO YEARS?!? Two. Years. YEARS. In the bathroom. Good gods.
The first paragraph of
this link is just priceless: "For guys who park in front of the TV during college basketball's March Madness, the Oregon Urology Institute has a suggestion: Why not use that time to recover from a vasectomy?"
Um. Okay...
And this week, on
When Farmers Attack...I can't make sense of this story, either. Drove a forklift into a building. Stripped naked. Went on a rampage. Amish gone wild? Your guess is as good as mine.
Today is the Feast of Padraig and the half of the house that wasn't sick? Now is. So we're not precisely celebrating today. We'll have corned beef later. I'd love to talk the roommates into ordering out, but it's not going to happen.
Still.
Am fed. Am no longer throwing up. Am reasonably warm. Life could be worse.
[Later edit: Changed mood themes. This'll be in userinfo, given a bit, but for now,
musesrealm made it. It's *all* Musketeers. Yeah, from *that* version. :) ]
